Festival Ellas Crean

The Festival Ellas Crean 2011 is now in its seventh year. This event provides, during the months of February, March and April, a meeting point for dialogue and expression by women creators from a wide range of disciplines, such as film, music, the visual arts, science, poetry, literature, gastronomy, comics and dance.

This year Museo Reina Sofía will be, for the second year in a row, one of the spaces used by the festival to give visibility to the active and creative role of women in all artistic fields. To this end, the Museum presents a Collection Itinerary called Feminism: a feminist look at the avant-garde.

Also taking place as part of the festival is the second edition of Eurojazz, which on this occasion brings to the Museum the great avant-garde voices: Katia and Marielle Labèque and Sinikka Langeland
