The works of artist Pedro G. Romero are characterised by a radical stance in contrast to the hegemonic narratives of history. The Bomb Fandango, from the series The Bomb Time, comprises a series of popular images which announced the time remaining until the Holy Week processions on blackboards around Seville at turn of the twentieth century (the shots show the Huelva town of Valverde del Camino due to its relationship with the fandango). These images have been contextualised with information from the days remaining before the explosion of the Hiroshima atomic bomb.
