Cristina Iglesias

This publication reflects upon the work of Cristina Iglesias over three decades or more. In considering the multiple approaches to exploring the interrelations and analogies that exist between sculpture and architecture in her works, the diversity of the suggested is given utterance by following a connecting thread of the semiotic nature of metonymy. A retrospective view that grants an appreciation of the expansion of sculptural elements through time, and which, fractal and labyrinthine, lead to a passage of interiors created from the variation of densities, innovated now with the inclusion of an aquatic element.
