The Order of Time and Things

This publication accompanies the first retrospective devoted to German artist Hanne Darboven in Spain. Multiple considerations are laid out through the chance to partially visit the recesses of her dual studio-home in Am Burgberg. In this environment, her place of residence and work for over thirty years upon returning from a fertile period in New York in the 1960s, she found her own individual cosmos and the circumstances with which she forged her work. The catalogue includes photographs and plans of her home, joining a wide variety of unreleased works that unearth new underpinnings in her oeuvre.
