R.B. Kitaj

A catalogue for the retrospective devoted to R.B. Kitaj, organised after the artist’s return to the USA after decades in Europe. The volume includes a series of perspectives around Kitaj’s art, in accordance with his own geographical and cultural multiplicity. The core essay in the publication is an analysis of his work as a whole, as a set of biographical confessions, while other texts foreground his relationship with Spain or assay a “fictitious” biography of the artist. It also includes an interview with Kitaj and the reproduction of works from the exhibition.
