Togores

A catalogue which focuses on the work of the painter Togores, in a period in closer proximity to avant-garde movements and one of the most varied in his body of work, ranging from magic realism to eclecticism, Surrealism and a return to figurative order. The essays collected here analyse these periods, along with other aspects such as the pursuit of his personal sense of “impassible beauty or his artistic thought toing and froing between the duality of classicism and renewal”. Along with the reproduction of works, there is also an appendix with Togores’ drawings.
